It was really encouraging in the last week to read so many open and honest posts across social media about people’s real individual struggles with mental health, especially over the last year. I read about friends and ex-colleagues I thought I knew well, who’d suffered in silence and were able to find a voice and share their stories, and it’s not before time. The more we talk about it, the more others will feel able to reach out and get their own support.
